We're excited to welcome a new member to our wonderful flat :-)
Location:
We're in between Kennington and Oval stations, right at the doorstep of beautiful Kennington Park. Perfect for a leisurely stroll and especially to hang out in during the Summer months. Plenty of local amenities, including a 24-hour shop, various gym facilities, climbing gyms, swimming pools, restaurants, pubs and cafes all in walking distance.
One of the big perks of this location are the transport links - frequent busses to London Bridge, Waterloo, Elephant and Castle, Brixton and Vauxhall pass just outside the park. Kennington Station offers both branches of the Northern line which get you into central London in under 30 minutes.
The flat:
The property is a two-floor flat with a large patio. On the ground floor we share a very spacious, comfortable living room and a fully furnished kitchen. On this floor, you will also find a separate, second toilet and a spare shower room.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms and a large bathroom and toilet. You will occupy a fully furnished double room, and there is plenty of extra storage space in the flat to meet your needs.
We are:
The other two rooms are currently occupied by Laura (an Italian chef) and myself (a Turkish-German actor). We met in the house, became really good friends and do various activities together.
We're both active people with demanding professional lives, so we've chosen to treat our house as a safe haven. We believe in taking ownership and like to make the house as comfortable and peaceful as it can be.
Who we're looking for:
It would be great to vibe with our new person, so we'll certainly look for a good connection. Someone who elevates the overall energy and is happy to join the team in taking care of our home.
Ideally, we'd like a professional around 30-40.
Sadly dogs are a no, but we're open to meeting cat owners :-)
Now, the admin stuff:
Rent is £800 per month with all bills included. The deposit is £700. It's a minimum stay of 6 months. Move in date will be the 4th of October 2024.
