Double bedroom in shared flat in Kennington

Hi, I own a modern flat in Kennington, close to the Tube. My flatmate has recently moved out. I’m looking for someone to move into the second bedroom - either Monday - Friday (£250/week) or full time (£1200/month). Ideally I’m looking for a friend as well as a flatmate.

The Flat
It’s a new build apartment, 5 minutes from Kennington Tube station and overlooking a park. Two bedrooms, I’m in the other one. There’s a combined lounge and kitchen with a nice balcony. Fast broadband. I have a weekly cleaner. Bills are included.

Kennington Tube connects to both branches of the Northern Line. Obviously, there are loads of buses too. Elephant and Castle is in walking distance.

The Room
It’s small but it’s got a new double bed, mattress, wardrobe and bedside tables. The bed opens for storage. The bathroom is next door (not en suite) with a shower, sink and toilet which will be yours.

50yo, gay, single, originally from the North of England. I am friendly and easy going. I work as a journalist and do a mix of wfh and the office. I also do some volunteering with the police.

You
Someone who will treat the place as home but be tidy and respectful. Fine to have fun but definitely not a party flat and strictly no drugs. I’m afraid it won’t suit significant home working either - it’s just not big enough!

I’m also open to short term lets if you want but at a higher cost.
