We’re looking for a friendly, tidy flatmate to join us in our spacious split-level home in a beautifully converted Victorian property, just one minute from Kennington Underground (Northern Line, Zones 1–2).

This is a genuine home rather than a party flat: bright, modern and exceptionally well connected, with plenty of space to relax, work and cook.

The flat
The flat occupies the ground floor and lower ground floor, with a generous living room and an unusually large kitchen downstairs. If you enjoy cooking or baking, it’s a fantastic space with two ovens, a built-in microwave, pantry and loads of worktop space.

You’ll also have access to:
* Underfloor heating throughout
* Separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer
* Private backyard with a clothes line
* Extensive built-in storage, including linen, coat and pantry cupboard

Your room
The double bedroom comes with a brand new John Lewis double bed and memory foam mattress. As there are two bathrooms, you’ll have preferential use of the main bathroom, including all of its storage (mirror cabinet and large vanity drawer), so it feels almost like having your own.

About us
We’re two sociable introverts in our mid-30s who enjoy the occasional movie night, cooking together, trying local pubs for a quiz, or exploring London’s coffee spots. We also really value a calm, respectful home and are equally happy spending an evening reading or watching TV.

We’re looking for someone similar: a young professional who is considerate, clean and looking for a place that feels like home.

The neighbourhood
Kennington is one of London’s best-connected neighbourhoods, with everything you need within walking distance:

* 1 minute to Kennington Station (Northern Line)
* 3 minutes to Tesco Local and a friendly corner shop opposite the flat
* 5 minutes to beautiful local park nearby
* 10 minutes to the new Elephant & Castle development with gyms, cafés, matcha spots and an M&S Food Hall opening in October


If you’re moving to London, the flat is fully equipped and ready to move into. If you’re already settled, there’s more than enough storage for your own homeware.
