I’m sadly leaving our lovely terraced house as I'll shortly be moving to a house I have purchased a bit further out of London. The tenancy ends in Aug 2025 but you'd all have the option to renew it if for another year if you like or you can just use it as a 8-9 month tenancy.

The move in date can be flexible.

I've been in this flat for just over 2 years and it's extremely conveniently located. It's about a ~5 min walk to Kennington station (Northern Line) and a ~8 min walk to Elephant & Castle station (Bakerloo line). You can get into central London in 20-25 minutes, and there's also good cycle paths & bus services as well! It's also convenient to walk into central London which I do most days :-)

Also there's a Tesco Express 3 min away and a fairly large Sainsbury's 10 min away.

The flat itself has a lovely spacious shared living/dining room and a nice-sized kitchen too! The flat has 2 bathrooms and our flatmate Lucia also has ensuite so the bathrooms are actually only shared by 3 people which has been very convenient. Flat comes with a dishwasher, washing machine, 2x fridges and freezer.

During the summer you can use the garden space which gets nice light, and is great space to enjoy your meals.

You'll be sharing the flat with Euan, Emily and Lucia who have all been great flatmates during my time there. Everyone maintains the space well and we sometimes like to watch a show or movie together, or just chat after work (we also all like boardgames but we haven't had much time for this recently!)

The room is on the top floor and has space for a desk. Unfortunately the desk and shelving unit in the bedroom pictures belongs to me but you can set up the room in a similar format using IKEA Kallax furniture which is quite cheap. Please note the room is definitely on the small-side but it does have a small built in closet for a bit of extra storage space and I've lifted up the bed a bit so that you can store things under it (I will leave behind the bed risers). We also have built in closet space in the top floor bathroom, a small room under the stairs and we also have a loft so I've never had issues with not having enough space.

Heating is included in the rent and then there's just the standard electricity, water, internet and council tax. Those first 3 utilities we split equally 4-ways and then council tax is split 3-ways as Lucia is a student (doing her masters) but this didn't have a big impact on the cost. These all together are usually around ~£100 a month.
