Large double room - 5 month sublet

Hello! A large double room will be available from April 4th to September 6th (with some flexibility) in our lovely house in Kennington (SE17) as I’m moving abroad for a temporary work project. You’d be subletting my room, and this was authorized by the agent. I’m looking for someone to take over the full 5 months (giving 1 months’ notice if you need to leave before the full 5 months are up). The current lease runs until 6th May 2025, and will be renewed for another year (rent might go up slightly, we’re waiting for confirmation from the landlord)

About the house: It’s a 3 bedroom house with living room and a small garden - ideal to enjoy the sun when it comes out. It has a shed big enough to keep 3 bikes and a back gate. 

Location wise - it’s on a quiet street 3 minutes away from Kennington Station (or 10 minute walk to Elephant & Castle), with easy access to Kennington Park Road and Walworth Road (which are both bus routes). Waterloo station is about 30 mins walk away or a 10 minute tube ride. Kennington Park is just around the corner.

The room: The room has a double bed, lots of storage, a desk and office chair and a large mirror. It shares a shower room and a loo with one other person.

Katie: I’m 27, originally from Yorkshire and I work in sales for a beauty company. I work in soho and usually go into the office 3 days a week. Loves watching football, meeting my friends in London etc

Alex: I'm 32, originally from Mexico. I'm a researcher with a background in international development. I love meeting friends, going to yoga classes, and exploring the city

Ideally we’re looking for considerate people who’ll treat the house as a home and not just a place to crash. We try to keep the shared spaces tidy and clean up after ourselves, and would appreciate living with someone who is willing to do the same.

Rent is £920 pcm (bills excluded) - this might go up slightly but should be confirmed soon.
The deposit is £891.66 
Bills are around £150 pcm per person
