The room is east facing with a double bed and built-in storage (the storage will be cleared before you arrive!) All the furniture in the photo comes with the room, but you're welcome to switch things out / put pictures up to make it your own. The room is 5m x 2.1m.
A bit about the flat:
The flat is a two bed maisonette with its own entrance, a south facing garden, one shared bathroom, a kitchen (with dishwasher, freezer, washing machine etc) and living room.
There's bike storage in the shed, and an option for on-street parking (costs about £90 per year)
All the bills are included and there's a fortnightly cleaner for the shared spaces.
A bit about me:
I am a 32 year old guy with interests in music, cooking, socialising and books. You'll often find me in one of the local pubs with my friends or out gardening.
On the sports side - I like running, cycling, skiing and sailing and always happy to dabble in new sports! I also play saxophone (occasionally and at reasonable hours!) and love cooking.
I sometimes wfh but am often out and about for work.
A bit about you:
I'm looking for someone a similar age with similar (ish) interests to come and share this flat.
Cooking and gardening are really important to me, so it would be great if you enjoy those too. 🧑🍳👩🌾
🐕Well behaved dogs are welcome (there'll be a dog interview!)
The flat is a great space for having friends round for drinks / dinner / bbq etc - but no midnight raves.
You're also welcome to have people stay over, but no live-in couples please. And no smokers.
Ideally looking for someone who works from the office 2-3 days a week. There's space in the room for a small desk, otherwise you are welcome to use the kitchen table / living room sofa.
What's the area like?
The flat is on a quiet pedestrian st in the Alberta Estate. About 5 mins walk from Kennington tube and around 10min to Elephant and Castle 🐘🏰. There's a big Morrisons about 10min walk away, plus East Lane market and loads shops on Walworth high st.
There is a local community gardening group that tend to the estate's fruit trees and gardens, expect lots of plum jam!
Kennington is about 30min tube/ 15 min cycle to Central London - so a really central location!

Looking for someone for at least 6 months, flexible on the start time
