I have a double room available from September in a lovely, bright 2-bed flat in Kensal Green. Move in date is flexible.

I’m looking for a friendly housemate, who is a working professional, ideally 25-35 years old.

🛏️ About the room
Furnished with a new double bed including under-bed ottoman storage, the mattress is included and also new. 2 large built in wardrobes plus bedside tables and shelving unit. There’s space for a desk, plus you could add extra storage (e. g dressing table or small chest of drawers).

🏡 About the flat
2 bedrooms across separate floors with a great standard across the flat.

Large living area with lots of natural light, beautiful wooden floors and a large TV.

1 bathroom which would be shared.

Separate kitchen finished to a high standard and includes: dishwasher, combined washing machine and tumble dryer, 4-burner hob, oven and other standard appliances.

Very strong WiFi (probably the best I’ve had in London!).

The room available is on the first floor and the second room is upstairs, so there’s lots of privacy and feels more like a house than a flat.

Plenty of roadside parking outside the flat which requires a resident permit.

I’m 28 and work in sales - I’ve lived in London for 7 years but I am very open to meeting new people.

I work from home 2/3 days a week, but this would be from my own room upstairs, and I travel for work frequently (average about once a month).

I play hockey for a local club and enjoy travelling, eating out, playing tennis and exploring London - but equally enjoy staying in.

I’m looking for someone who is friendly, respectful but also sociable, and tidy. Likewise, I would respect your privacy but would be looking for someone who is up for doing things together sometimes.

I would prefer to have someone who works from home max. 2/3 days a week, or fully in the office/not at home i. e not working from home 5 days a week.

The flat is really beautiful so ideal for someone who is looking to make it a home.

📍About the area
The flat is 2 minutes from Kensal Green station (Zone 2, Bakerloo and Lioness lines) so it is very well connected and super easy to get around the city. Kensal Rise is 10-minutes walk away, and Queen’s Park is 15-20 minutes walk away.
