Description
Double Room available to rent in a beautiful house in Kensal Rise.
Hanover Road has been home to me for 4 years, it is a truly fantastic property with a great landlord, who recently redecorated the room (it has lovely new bouncy carpet!). There are two of us moving on as we are buying places, but we are very sad to leave such great flatmates and a wonderful property behind.
Room 1;
Smaller double room available from 7th December - there is some flexibility with this date, please ask if a different date will work.
The house is a 5 minute walk from Kensal Rise (Overground) and a 10-15 minute walk from Kensal Green (Bakerloo) and Willesden Green (Jubilee) stations. Kensal Rise is home to some fantastic boutiques, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Very close to Queens Park which offers night markets and an amazing farmer's market on Sundays.
We have a large back garden perfect for BBQs, fires and sunbathing in the summer. With a large shared living room and kitchen area, perfect for catch-ups after work. The kitchen has recently been refurbished and there are two bathrooms, the main one upstairs and a secondary larger bathroom downstairs with a bath. We have a cleaner every 2 weeks who cleans the communal spaces, included in the rent.
Brad, Emily and Terrie will be staying- they are all between 27 and 34 years old and are professionals working in London. We're often found chatting in the kitchen drinking wine and sharing stories about our day or watching movies together. We often try and do a 'house' activity whether board games, movie, bonfire, out for drinks/dinner or BBQ to bond and have fun. Naturally we also have time to ourselves, but welcome a balance.
Due to Covid-19 we have a few housemates who work from home in their bedrooms.
Ideal flatmates would be between 28-35 years old, like to keep it relatively quiet in the weekdays and enjoy socialising at the weekends (depending on shifts!) and will treat this new house as their new home.
Small room:
Includes a double bed (not pictured) with a desk and hanging wardrobe.
Rent- £485 including bills. (Electric, gas, TV, internet, council tax and fortnightly cleaner etc) Deposit £320
We will be sharing the login so contact either myself (Lisa) Terrie, Brad or Emily through Spareroom- the flatmates will look to meet people w/c 30 November.
We would appreciate it if you would wear a mask for the viewings - we have some sanitiser you can use when you come in.
Any other questions please don't hesitate to ask!
