Double Room in Female/Creative/LGBT friendly house

Double room available in female, creative and queer friendly house! Available from 10th August, however there is flexibility if you need to move in before.

The house is located 4 minutes’ walk from Kensal Green tube station (Bakerloo line & Overground to Euston) and 5 minutes away from Kensal Rise (Overground going to East London or West to Clapham/Richmond).

THE HOUSE
It’s a large five bedroom, two-storey Victorian style house. There is a beautiful spacious kitchen with a large dining table, a separate living room, a bathroom and a downstairs toilet. The kitchen leads to our garden behind the house which has a hammock, a BBQ and a vegetable patch where we started growing basil, tomatoes & veg.
Washer/Dryer is downstairs, plus under stair storage.
ACCESSIBILITY – One step outside to the front door. 12 steps on the stairs to the first floor.

THE ROOM
its a nice double room with a wardrobe and a double bed. It has a window with lots of natural light. There's lots of storage throughout the house for books etc.

There is space in the bathroom for toiletries, and we have a shoe rack and coat hanger in the hallway, and lots of under stair storage.

ABOUT US
We are an LGBT friendly household, made up of 4 very lovely creative women (queers and allies) in their late twenties to mid thirties, who all work in the creative and arts industries. (Think freelance, sometimes super busy sometimes not. None of us have 9-5 office jobs). The house has a chatty, friendly and sociable dynamic, and we all really care about it being a lovely environment! Because of our varying work hours, you will rarely find all 4 people in the house at the same time, but we like to spend time together when we’re home, but also very much respect each other’s space and needing chill time alone 😊

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As we are all women ages 28-34, we’re looking for a similar aged, friendly and interesting woman/NB person to join our home. We are an LGBT friendly house (Mix of queers and allies) and welcome anyone from the queer community 😊 We’re all vegetarians, so we are hoping to find someone veggie, or who doesn’t cook meat at home as that is very important to us all!
We are looking for someone who’s fun to live with and easy going but also considerate and respectful of other housemates.

PETS
We have a cat who loves to say hi when you come home. She’s our house cat. You don’t have to worry about buying food or vet costs, but we all share caring for her (feeding, cleaning etc.). Ideally we are looking for someone who also loves cats and is happy to play with her from time to time.

BILLS
The monthly rent for the room is £590, which includes council tax, wifi, water, a cleaner, house products and TV licence. Gas/elec is separate and usually works out between £20-£30 a month.

CONTRACT
You will need to be able to go on the contract - the agency does a credit check and you need to have full time employment, or tax returns to show you can cover the rent.
