Description

The time has come that I am saying good-bye to a wonderful flatshare in north-west London after four years. But this means that after almost two years a room is becoming available for the first time again in our modern four-bed flat in Kensal Rise – and you can snap it up from the beginning of December!

The flat is on the top floor of the building with amazing panoramic views over London. The whole place is very light and airy, with lots of big windows and a large living area with an open kitchen and bar. We've also got two big dining tables so it's great for entertaining. The room itself comes furnished (bed, wardrobe, cupboard and bookshelf; a small desk if wanted); the bathroom right opposite your door is shared with just one other person. The star of the show is your very own skylight!

The flat is a 5-min walk down to Kensal Rise Overground station, 10 min to Kensal Green station (also OG) and 15 min to Queen's Park station (Bakerloo line) so it's very convenient for getting to both Central and East. There are also plenty of bus routes that run right by our building, making it an easy location for getting around.

Both Kensal Rise and Queen’s Park are charming and family-friendly areas with loads of nice bars, restaurants, cafes, independent shops and green spaces, and feel very safe. Buzzing Chamberlayne and College Roads are short walks away, as is Queen’s Park itself. Every Sunday there is a farmers’ market at the local school, which is great to grab some food and go to the park to relax. The Lexi cinema, a personal favourite, is right around the corner.

You’ll be sharing with three wonderful, kind and warm women in their early to mid-30s. We share the occasional glass of wine and catch up. But we also all live busy lives, with full schedules so are sometimes like ships in the night. We like to keep a clean and calm atmosphere in the flat; and are respectful and mindful of each other. It’s not a party flat, more of a space you can call home. For this vibe to continue we’d be looking for someone similar.

We’ve been lucky with the landlord as he's super helpful and always sends someone over asap if there’s anything that needs fixing around the flat.
The deposit is 5 weeks (which is likely closer to 1050, but SpareRoom wouldn't let me). The bills work out to be around £140 a month. This includes Wifi, council tax, energy & water. There will be a reference check from the letting agency.
I’m moving out on 7 Dec but can be flexible for the right person.

***We'll be holding in-person viewings initially Sunday through Tuesday evenings, 10 to 12 Nov. So drop us a message if you're interested to view the place, and maybe a few words about yourself too, and we'll find a time that suits***
