Character Room In Big Victorian House- Kensal Rise

Beautiful character room for rent in a large 6-bedroom house with a paved patio leading to a giant grassy back garden.

Room can be furnished or unfurnished with double bed and mattress & chest of drawers. The room is super cute and charactery with build-in display shelves with glass, lower shelves for storage type stuff and another built in cupboard (all pictured in photos). The room looks out over the back garden (it’s legit giant and super grassy ☺️).

THERE IS CONSTRUCTION NEXT DOOR. It has been going on since August 2025 and is expected to continue until approx August 2026. It is loud and annoying. There may also be additional construction to the coach house in the back garden. Construction is permitted 8AM-6PM Monday-Friday and 8-1PM on Saturdays. We have a good relationship with the builders next door and they do try to keep the noise to a minimum until 9AM, but we do want to be upfront about this. We do not recommend the room for someone who works from home, given the construction.

You share a full bathroom (toilet, bathtub & shower) with one other female roommate.

Bills are not included and are split equally by everyone in the house. A cleaner comes every two weeks to keep common areas and bathrooms clean.

You’ll be sharing tenancy with 5 other young professionals. All super friendly, aged between 28-33 and enjoy socialising together as well as doing our own things.
LGBT+ and POC friendly household.

Parking space is available on the drive or can get a permit for the street.

Public transportation is very accessible as Kensal Rise Overground station is 2 mins away, both Kensal Green and Queens Park stations (Bakerloo line) are 20 mins away walking and bus stops around the corner.

Smoking is fine, so long as it's outside 💙🙏
