Description
Lovely double room available from early September (can be flexible on move in date throughout all over September/Early October) - open to viewings this week and next, would like to get something sorted soon :)
My housemate is sadly leaving our 2-bed flat after living together for 2.5 years so I am looking for a replacement. I would really love to have someone in who can be a friend as well as housemate with the occasional pub trip or series watch, but also enjoy my alone time too. I would preferably be looking for someone aged 25-31 who works in a professional environment and works in the office a few days a week, someone who is clean and tidy as this is super important to me and respectful of shared spaces.
The flat/room:
The flat is top floor of a terraced house in a leafy residential area 5 minute walk from Kensal Green Station (Bakerloo and Lioness line) and 10 minute walk from Kensal Rise Station (Mildmay line), the area is super well connected taking 20 mins to get into central London. Kensal Rise high street is really nice with a couple pubs and wine bars and nice restaurants and the flat is a 15 minute walk to Queens Park area, which has a farmers market every Sunday and some fab up and coming restaurants. The flat is super light and airy, morning sun spills into the bedrooms and afternoon sun fills the lounge. We have just had brand new carpets fitted throughout the whole flat. Modern kitchen and bathroom (shared) with a rain shower.
The room is a great size, fitting a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawer space, with two windows making it very light and overlooks the garden below. The room is unfurnished so you would need to bring a bed and furniture etc for the room but the rest of the flat is mostly furnished.
About me:
I am 27 and working in Hospitality PR as a Senior Account Manager, I love socialising and hosting so will do the occasional dinner with friends in the flat, love trips to the pub and exploring different areas of London, really passionate about food and restaurants so making my way through a list of London restaurants I want to try! I enjoy running (when it’s not so hot) and love getting out and about, especially on a Sunday for a coffee and farmers market trip in Queens Park. I work from home 2 days a week, I like to keep it chilled and quiet throughout the week.
Rent: £1087.50
Bills: £168
Deposit: £1183
Once all details are finalised, the new tenant will be drafted into the contract for the flat which will then continue on a rolling basis where 2 months notice needs to be given before leaving. I am looking for someone who is interested in staying in the flat longer term rather than short-term.
