Description
BEAUTIFUL LARGE DOUBLE ROOM IN PEACEFUL HOME
Our house is in QUEEN'S PARK, just off KENSAL RISE. If you don't know it, it's a lovely area, full of families and is safe and well connected to central London by public transport in ZONE 2
The room we're looking to let in our friendly home is really beautiful and is just £950 INCLUDING all Gas, Electricity, Heating, Council Tax and Fast Fibre Broadband.
We have a very big (6 bedroom) Victorian family house and generally let 2 rooms, one of which (with super comfortable double bed) is currently available.
Spacious, modern bathroom with shower and bidet and kitchen currently shared with other girl who’s very clean and quiet but sadly she’s leaving in February to travel. The kitchen has cooker, fridge, freezer and washing machine.
Owners (Actress and Producer) live in the house, occasionally with one or both of our grown up daughters (both in the music business).
We have a friendly and trusting relationship with tenants but otherwise live separate lives and we have our own kitchen, bathroom, etc. downstairs
Our current tenant is lovely has been with us for two years and the previous tenant was here for over 11 years -"the nicest place l've ever lived..."
From experience, quiet, responsible, clean, tidy and easygoing professionals fit in best.
Fibre broadband included for free, as is practically everything else (which would normally add about an extra £70-£100 a week) but non-smoker absolutely essential!
If you don't know the area, Queen's Park is very civilized and is predominantly populated by young families and creative professionals (lots of actors, musicians and media types).
Although close to Central London (2. 9 miles to Marble Arch), it is a quiet, safe and leaty oasis.
The beautiful Queen's Park itself (with cafe, tennis courts, boules pitch, table tennis, pitch and putt golf course, etc.) is at the end of the street and nearby are great cafe's, bookshops, clothes and charity shops, delis, bars, pubs, restaurants and renowed Sunday Farmers' Market. Also M&S, Tesco and Sainsburys supermarkets. We also boast the Lexi, one of London's loveliest boutique cinemas just round the corner on Chamberlayne Road which none other than Vogue has described as "the trendiest high street in EUROPE!"
Very easy access to central London from Queens Park and Kensal Green Tubes, overground Train Station or Buses 6, 28, 36, 52, 187, 206, 302, 316, 215 and others. Also moments from Kensal Rise Overground Station (Stratford to Richmond and Clapham) and direct trains to Westfield in Shepherd's Bush (10 mins door to door).
If you hate children and love loud music and parties, best look elsewhere but if you are clean, tidy and responsible, get in touch.
Oh and we got a new puppy before Christmas. He lives downstairs but visiting rights can be negotiated ;))
