A large room in our shared flat is immediately available. My girlfriend and I have recently moved out. The flat is part of a beautiful Victorian stucco terrace in Kensington, only 5 mins walk from Earls Court station. This is an awesome room and would be suitable for either an individual or another couple.
- The room
This is a large room at the back of the house (quiet) with a super kingsize bed on a mezzanine level. The room has a private en-suite shower and sink, a small desk and several cupboards/wardrobes for storage. All bedroom furniture will be staying put.
- The people
You'll be living with our awesome flatmates (also good friends). They're a couple, both professionals from Australia (Melbourne) and genuinely lovely people. We are looking for someone or a couple that’s easy going and friendly, respects the house, keeps things tidy and would be keen for an occasional house dinner & a beer.
- The house
A two bedroom flat on the first floor of a beautiful stucco terrace in Kensington. The flat has a balcony, double height ceilings and French windows. We have a large living room with two sofas and a dining room table large enough to seat 8. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of storage space, a gas oven/hobs and large fridge freezer big enough for 4 people to share. There is a shared bathroom and an additional ensuite shower and sink in the available room.
- The location
5 mins walk from both Earls Court station (Piccadilly Line and District Line) and High Street Kensington station (District Line and Circle Line). Hyde Park is 10 mins walk away as are all the museums on Exhibition Rd and the Royal Albert Hall etc. Heathrow and Gatwick (via Victoria) and within easy reach. We have about 10 great pubs less than 1km from our front door with the Devonshire Arms less than a 2min walk away. There is a Tescos superstore and a large Sainsburys within easy walking distance. This a very convenient location with easy access to almost every amenity.
- Timings
The room is available immediately.
- The lease
The lease runs from/to mid-September. You could either choose to sublet for a discounted rent price until the end of the lease or replace us as named tenants on the lease, in which case you would need to provide character and employment references to the landlord. The landlord would also need to see evidence of full time permanent employment.
- How much?
Rent under sublet is £900 monthly. Under the official lease it is £1,137.50 per month. Additionally, total bills are approx £110-130 per month. The security deposit under the official lease is £1,312.50.
