Double room in South Kensington area

Hi lovely people out there looking for a room!

My partner and I have a cosy and quiet room available for rent for a 3 month period.

The flat itself is on the second floor (with a lift) of a pretty sun-filled Victorian building. The room for rent has high ceilings, double bed, wardrobe with plenty of storage, possible space for a desk, and is on the non-street side of the house so gets very little noise. The bathroom has a bath tub/shower and can be primarily used by you, so no morning drama when everyone needs to use the bathroom!

The property is on a quiet cul-de-sac containing a residents-only garden. It is located off Gloucester Road, less than 5 minutes from the station with excellent transport links (Piccadilly, District, and Circle lines), and walking distance to Hyde Park and the local South Kensington amenities.

Costs:
-Rent is £1150/month.
-The bills (internet, electricity/gas, council tax...) run at £150/month per person.

About us:
We are Jen and Jono from Australia and New Zealand! We have now both been in London for a number of years and still loving it (even if we get a little homesick sometimes). We both work Mon-Fri jobs and take advantage of what this great city has to offer.

We are social, but don't throw parties in the apartment as we value our calm oasis of a flat within a lively city.

We love the flat and the neighbourhood. The flat is a bit older as you can see from the pictures, but amazing value for the area. We think anyone would love it here.

Our future flatmate:
A tidy, friendly, non-smoking, respectful person who enjoys good conversation and the occasional flat dinner/movie night!

Move-in date is beginning of August, 2024 and is available for 3 months (until end of October, 2024). Shorter term stays will be considered too and we are flexible with move-in/move-out dates.
