Hi! We have a room becoming available in our large 2-bedroom flat in Holland Park / Kensington Olympia. Official move in date is May 15th, with flexibility to move in as early as May 1st. Rent is £1,100 pcm excluding bills, which add up to an additional £250 per month (so £1350 all in).

About the flat:
The flat is a spacious, elegant, two double bedroom flat in a well presented modern block. Located on the second floor, with lift, the flat includes a large reception room with dining area, eat in kitchen with fitted appliances, and modern bathroom. The flat has wooden floors with underfloor heating throughout, which is amazing in the winter. I’ve been living here for over two years now and absolutely love it.

About the room:
The room is the largest bedroom in the flat (4.5 x 3.6 m), and comes furnished with a bed, bedside table, two wardrobes (one of them is mine, so can sell it if not needed), a large dresser, and a small vanity / desk.

About the location:
Russell Road is a quiet residential street ideally located right next to Olympia Overground station and just off Kensington High Street, where you will find an abundance of shops and restaurants. Shepherd’s Bush and Westfield is also conveniently located nearby (about a 15 minute walk), and you can walk to Holland Park in 12 minutes.

About me:
I’m in my 30s, originally from Norway but have lived abroad a large portion of my life, and work in CRM. I’m at the office three days a week, and usually work from my bedroom the remaining two days. My hobbies include fashion (I design and sew clothes, and have a small Etsy shop on the side), reading, piano, and spending time with friends. I usually go out to socialize, so the flat is definitely not a party flat, but of course you’re welcome to have friends over from time to time.

Additional details:
Females only please. You will need to pass a reference check from the management company before moving in (employment check and rental history). The contract runs until September 15th, with three months notice (we usually start renegotiating with the landlord in June). I plan to renew for another year, so ideally looking for someone who would want to stay on, but of course that will be up to you and how happy you are living here. Contract will start May 15th, but since my flatmate is moving in with her boyfriend, there is some flexibility on the move-in date and if you need to move in sooner, we can work out a sublet with her.
