Description
Two double rooms available (for one person) in a bright, spacious, calm flat right next to Hampstead Heath.
The Flat
A homely three-bedroom flat in a beautiful Art Deco block. The available rooms are both double bedrooms with large windows that let in plenty of sunlight. The rooms come unfurnished so you can make them your own (a bedroom + additional private living room, an office/study, a walk in wardrobe).
The living room is spacious and bright with a balcony (room for tomatoes, herbs, plants). There’s also a bathroom, additional toilet, kitchen (including appliances, such as dishwasher, gas oven, fridge, freezer and washing machine). The apartment building is well kept and is situated on a quiet residential road. The building is peaceful with quiet and respectful neighbours.
Bills
Around £150/160 per month between two people. This includes council tax, water, gas, electric, broadband and tv.
Location
The area has great transport links. The flat is a two-minute walk away from Hampstead Heath (nearest to Parliament Hill). The 88 (24hr), 214 (24hr) and C11 stop at the end of the street and we are a 15-minute walk from Archway, Tufnell Park and Kentish Town station for the Northern Line. The flat is also only a 10-minute walk away from Gospel Oak overground.
There’s a great selection of cafes, wine bars, restaurants and shops nearby, including a butcher, fishmonger, greengrocer, bakery, and Italian deli.
Me
I’m a 34 year old English teacher and academic. In my spare time I like swimming in the women’s pond at Hampstead Heath, running, reading, architecture and photography exhibitions. I'm also interested in languages and currently learning French. Pre-COVID, I enjoyed having a drink at my local, eating out and going to the cinema.
In the flat, I enjoy having a glass of wine or a cuppa and biscuits with my flat mate, but I am also respectful of other people’s personal space and privacy.
You
I’m looking for someone who will fit in with the quiet and calm vibe of the flat. Ideally, you will keep normal/sociable working hours. I prefer to keep the living room as a communal work-free area for relaxing/socialising (but with the additional bedroom this shouldn’t be a problem!)
If you’re interested, please let me know and we can arrange a viewing.
Look forward to meeting you - Emma
