Hello! I‘m looking for a female flatmate to join a warm and friendly Kentish town home :)
About the room:
A bright double bedroom with a lot of light and wooden floors. The room comes with a bedframe + mattress, big wardrobe and a table.
About the flat:
The flat is split over 2 levels (ground and first floor) of a council flat block, so it actually feels like a house (with its own front door and private garden).
On the ground floor there are the kitchen, the shared living room and the garden.
The living room comes with a desk/table, big sofas, and a cute (electric) fireplace.
The kitchen is well-furnished with lots of fridge and freezer space.
The entrance area is always lit so you feel safe coming in.
Residents parking permit available from Camden Council.
There also are a couple of extra communal cupboards that can be used to store suitcases, etc.
On the first floor you have the 3 bedrooms, the bathroom and the separate toilet.
About the flatmates:
I‘m Alice, a researcher from Italy. It's a lovely and quiet place where you can be independent, but also enjoy good conversation.
About the area:
The area is AMAZING! You are 5 minutes walk from both Kentish Town (Tube currently under maintenance for a few months , Norther line 15min from Camden town in the meantime) & train (stop at key stations i. e King's cross, Farringdon & Blackfriars, and Kentish Town West (Overground). The high street is literally round the corner, but you don't hear any noise! On the high street you have Sainsbury's, Tesco, Co-op, Lidl, Gail's, a post office, as well as lovely health food shops, restaurants, cafes, and a food centre. It's a 25-minute walk to both Regent's Park and Hampstead Heath, and you've got buses into Central London just 3 minutes walk away!
It's 10/10!
About the bills:
All bills - council tax, water, tv licence, gas, electricity, internet - come to ~£120 a month, on top of rent. You'd be in charge of the rent, water and TV licence accounts. And there's a £716 deposit per person on the flat and £50 fee for reference check.
About the viewings:
I will start doing viewings from now.
