En-suite in a light-filled flat in Kentish Town

My flatmate has recently moved out and I'm looking for someone to take her en-suite.

The room comes with a double bed, a desk, built-in wardrobe, and a small shelving unit. We'll be sharing an open kitchen and living room. There's also a balcony/patio.

The flat is very spacious with huge windows, allowing plenty of natural light to come in through the living room and the bedrooms. The flat is also very well insulated (with double glazed windows) which helps keeping energy cost low in winter.

The flat is a 3-min walk from Kentish Town West (overground), and it's a 9-min walk from Kentish Town station (currently closed for refurbishment but will reopen in September 2024) or 11-min walk from Chalk Farm station.

Rent is £1,125 per month, excluding bills. Bills (including council tax, electricity, water and broadband) comes to around £130 per month.

The current tenancy period ends in December 2024, but we could discuss renewing the contract with the landlord closer to the date.

My name is Noel and I work as an art curator. I work Monday-Friday 9-5 and tend to work from home 3-4 days a week. Outside of work I enjoy reading, catching up with friends, and spending time in my ceramics studio.

I'm looking for a working professional who is a clean and considerate flatmate. I'm sociable and open to hanging out, but also enjoy doing my own thing. Ideally, the flatmate will be mostly working in the office as I use the living room space when I wfh - but I'm also happy to discuss our working patterns and share the space if it works out.
