Double room available in a friendly flat in Kentish Town from 11th October.
THE FLAT:
The flat is in an ideal location, 5 mins walk from Kentish Town tube/railway station. There’s a generously sized living room and good sized kitchen, and two bathrooms so you’ll only be sharing with one other person. We’re also a 15-minute walk from Kentish Town West overground. Kentish Town is very accessible and it’s super easy to get to central London from here. It’s worth noting that we don’t have any space to store a bike in this flat, and street bike storage tends to have a long waiting list, so this probably wouldn’t suit cyclists. It takes no more than 5-10 minutes to walk to the high street, which has lots of supermarkets, shops, restaurants and pubs to enjoy. We’re about a 20-minute walk to lovely Hampstead Heath on one end, or the same amount of time to Camden Town and the beautiful Regents Park on the other end.
The room is top floor and is a great size with loads of storage space and natural light (the bed is an ottoman storage bed which lifts up). The desk and mini chest of drawers pictured won’t be included with the room but plenty of space to set up a desk if you work from home.
THE FLATMATES:
You’ll be sharing with three female professionals in their late twenties/early thirties. One is a teacher, one works in the tv/film industry and one works in a bakery, so a mixture of working from home and full time office. It’s a friendly flat where everyone’s up for a chat and watching some tv together but also has their own stuff going on and respects each other’s space. They also like to keep the flat clean and tidy and have a regular cleaning rota going. They’re looking for someone who wants a similar vibe!
RENT/BILLS/DEPOSIT:
The rent is £840 a month. Bills are extra (including council tax, energy, water and Wifi) but usually work out around £100 a month.
The deposit is one month’s rent at £840 and would need to be paid before you move in.
