hello! i’m moving out of my lovely kentish town house and we’re looking for someone to take over my room and join the girls on the lease from 15 december.
the house occupies the first and second floors of a terraced house on a leafy street about a 6 minute walk to kentish town station (northern line and thameslink, zone 2). there is a bright open plan living area and kitchen on the top floor where everyone cooks, hangs out and watches films, plus a little garden which is lovely in the warmer months.
the room
the room is a cosy mid sized double. it comes furnished with:
bed with under bed storage
mattress
wardrobe
chest of drawers
i’ll be taking my desk and shelves, so if you work from home a lot you might want to bring your own desk.
you will be living with
kate, 24 – freelance film maker, grew up in switzerland, has been in the house for about 18 months
aimee, 25 – originally from australia, has been in london since 2024 and works in property
they both have busy lives and their own friends and routines, but genuinely enjoy spending time together, cooking, having a wine, watching films and heading out for the odd pint. They’re both social, warm, and easy going, clean and tidy, and it is an lgbtq+ friendly.

renting through an agency who will do standard checks
deposit: £1,038.48, protected in a deposit protection scheme
money & contract
rent: £995 pcm (excluding bills)
bills: currently about £150 pcm each (including usual bits like council tax, wifi, utilities etc)
lease: 12 months with a 6 month break clause
move in: from 15 december (with some flexibility to get the keys over that weekend, pending approval)
***you must be able to pass agency referencing, so you will need to be in full time employment with sufficient income, or have a UK based guarantor the agency is happy with.***
who we are looking for
someone mid twenties-ish, clean and considerate, who has their own life but is also up for being part of the house rather than just renting a room. if you are into the idea of chatting in the kitchen, watching a film together, or going for the odd pub night, you will fit in well.

we are planning viewings for the weekend of 6 december.
