Room in homely house

Room - medium sized, about 6m sq, furnished. I've lived here for 1 year and it's been very good.

Property - 4 bedroom garden flat in a georgian terraced house, large kitchen and living room. Furnished by the landlady, with good furniture and a few nice paintings, to add to the character and a homely feel. You would share a shower room with 2 other housemates (one of the rooms has it's own bathroom).

Flatmates - You would be taking my room and the other 3 rooms are occupied by 1 female and 2 males, aged 28-32. Everyone in the house is friendly, sociable with a range of interests (some do writing, running, yoga, watch football, box sets) and though lead independent lives, we do go out for the occasional meal or drink.

Transport - about 8-10 minute walk to Chalk Farm station and slightly longer to Belsize Park (both on the Northern line). Also 8-10 minutes to Gospel Oak overground where you can get to west/east/north east London very quickly. 24 bus route also into Central London.

Local Area - Outdoors - 5 minute jog to Hampstead Heath which has been the personal star attraction for me - one of the nicest large areas of open space in North London, hills, woods, trails and a 400m running track. You can also walk to Primrose Hill and Regent's Park in 15-20 minutes.

Local area - Shops, Pubs and Restaurants - Queen's Crescent market is just around the corner which means that I haven't really done a big supermarket shop in the last 6 months. There are lots of good pubs in Kentish Town, Hampstead and Belsize Park, with livelier venues in Camden Town (all c. 15 minutes walk).

Other information - the contract would be for 12 months and is available from Sunday 9/17 August (earlier preferred). All bills included except utilities and gas (c.£30 p/month). The room would suit a clean, tidy, non-smoking professional aged 26-38.
