£850 for couples
Landlord will do reference checks, etc. Fee = £150 per person or couple. Deposit = 1 mo. rent.

Location:
On a quiet street, around the corner from the shops/restaurants/pubs on Brecknock Rd. Around another corner from a small park
10 min walk to Kentish Town Tube Station and shops
16 min walk to Caledonian Rd. Tube Station
Under 20 min by bus to central London.

The flat:
Spacious living room with open kitchen and dining area. Washer, large fridge, AND dishwasher in the kitchen. Storage closet. Windows + skylight over kitchen, dining area, and bath = plenty of sunlight. The available bedroom has a nice large wardrobe. Street parking if needed.

We both have flexible schedules so no problem sharing the bathroom in the mornings. We’re just moving in as well, so we can all shape the space together. On the tidiness scale we keep things nice but casual. Could raise that standard, but would prefer not to lower it.

Your flatmates:
Ben (30) and Rebecca (29). We’re from the US, but recently moved to London from Ethiopia. We’re a couple. We’ve been together for ages so no worries about drama. We like to cook, but admittedly we’re not master chefs. We go out as the budget allows, and enjoy company for dinner or playing cards and other games. Look forward to a flatmate who likes socializing at home, but we definitely respect the need for privacy.

Rebecca researches violence prevention for the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She enjoys travel, wine, climbing, office supplies, and staying warm. Ben’s a writer and filmmaker but freelances to pay the bills. Communications, marketing, web blah blah blah. He enjoys craft beer, poetry, dancing, cinema, and sharp banter.

We also have Bella (pictured). At 13lbs, she’s a plump, little, 10-year-old Chihuahua-mix. She lives in the states currently, but will be joining us in February. Trained, and very mellow, she enjoys food, walks, and snuggling whoever is nearby.

You:
Any gender/ethnicity/orientation/n ationality welcome. We’re open-minded and would like a flatmate who is too. It’s fine if you smoke, but not in the flat. Students or professionals welcome. Property manager will check references / financials. Bonus points if you like to bake, cook gourmet meals, have ever been a barista, or would otherwise make the flat smell nice.
