I’m moving out and looking for someone to take over my room (available from 22nd December).
It’s a spacious, furnished room with a king-size bed, a private en-suite bathroom, and lots of natural light.
^The only thing I'll be taking with me is the mattress as I bought it, but the landlady will order a new one.
All household bills amount to around £50-70 per month per person. This includes council tax, energy, water, WiFi.
The house itself has:
- Washing machine & tumble dryer
- Direct access to private garage with parking space (£50 p/m extra if you want to use it)
- Air fryer
- Dishwasher
- Large fridge/freezer
- Back garden and a private roof terrace
- Loads of storage space
As part of Kidbrooke Village, there is also a concierge building for collecting deliveries if you're not in. The concierge building has a complimentary gym, pool, bookable office space, and cinema room.
The surrounding area is quiet and clean; there's a David Lloyd directly opposite the property and Kidbrooke Station is a 5-minute walk (easy links into central London).
The household is friendly and generally everyone keeps to themselves, so an ideal next tenant will be similar. Since the house is spread over 4 floors and everyone has different schedules, it never feels crowded.
