Description

Hi everyone,

I’m Suzanne, a 35 year old Australian.

THE APARTMENT
It's a top floor apartment in a converted warehouse consisting of a duplex with high ceilings, 2 bedrooms each with their own ensuite (with bath) and the best (private) terrace I've personally seen in London (bigger than most living rooms!). It’s a 4 minute walk to Brondesbury overground station and 8 minutes to Kilburn station, as well as all the amenities of the Kilburn High road (Aldi, TKMaxx, Argos etc, grocery store 30 seconds away). Due to the double glazing of the windows and the fact that it's high up, it's also somehow quiet, even on the terrace. There's a tonne of skylights so the apartment feels light and airy. There's 95 sqm of internal living space. With the terrace on top there's a huge amount of space for 2 people. The Council tax band is C. Bills cost somewhere between £150 - £200 each per month, depending on the season, so rent and bills end up totalling around £1400 per month.

THE BEDROOM
The bedroom on offer is absolutely massive. You could fit 2 double-sized beds in there if you wanted, so plenty of room to work from home. There’s currently 1 king sized bed in there. It has floorboards, built in wardrobes, a wall of windows, a family-sized bathroom and a sense of privacy, all of which are a luxury in London!

AVAILABILITY/VIEWINGS/CONTRACT
The apartment is available from roughly 27 August 2026 with some flexibility to move in earlier. I’m holding viewings on a rolling basis so get in touch quick! I am considering shorter term arrangements so let’s discuss.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I’m a tax lawyer by profession, I love dancing (bachata mostly), reading and travelling. I am a great listener and I love deep and meaningful chats, self development, learning, meeting people and getting the most out of life.

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR IN A FLATMATE
Please tell me about yourself, your likely move-in date and why you think we would get along when you contact me as I can’t return all messages. Sorry, no pets allowed as I’m sadly allergic.

I’ve had amazing experiences living with housemates before, and it would be ideal to find someone reliable and who might be open to being friends.

I’m looking for a flatmate who is interesting, considerate and communicates well. I’m a positive, clean and tidy person and I always pull my weight when it comes to running a household, so I expect you to as well. In terms of visitors, I would say I'm open to having partners stay over up to 2 nights a week, but any more than that and I'll feel like I'm living with them, which is not the agreement. I would like us to both be able to enjoy this fantastic space for entertaining, but always subject to us agreeing first and respecting each other's timetables etc.

Thanks and best of luck with your searches!
