Description
Move-in no later than Oct 10th (but before is possible)!
Rent: £980
Bills: £65 a month (exc Council Tax)
Hello there 😊
I am on the hunt for a new flatmate to replace my current flatmate in our contract until April, as she is moving out with her partner :)
I am looking for someone to take over her double room in my lovely, bright flat. The room has a big south-facing window, providing natural light and is currently furnished with a comfortable bed and a colossal floor-to-ceiling wardrobe. So plenty of storage space :)
The flat is suuuper well located as it is both 10 mins walk from Kilburn (Jubilee Line), Kilburn Park (Bakerloo Line), Brodensbury (Mildmay Line - Overground) and Kilburn High Road (Lioness Line - Overground). Also 15 mins away from West Hampstead (inc Thameslink so super comfortable to reach airports!).
We are in Kilburn High Road so also plenty of amenities nearby!
Literally 30s away from Aldi, TK Maxx, Argos etc. Also Sainsbury's, Iceland, Primark, Tesco by walking distance :)
THE APARTMENT/ BUILDING
Last floor, spacious 2-bed flat in Kilburn High Road. Wood flooring, triple-height ceilings and fully furnished.
We have a large kitchen with a fitted dishwasher, fridge, washing machine, oven, and hobs.
Shared bathroom only with me (so it's usually free) and a lovely living room.
THE ROOM
Queen-size bed, a mirror, and built-in wardrobes/ plenty of storage.
THE FLATMATES
I am Carmen, a last year PhD student working in a neuroscience lab! I am friendly, tidy, and laid-back. I enjoy going out hiking, cooking, and occasionally hosting small gatherings.
YOU!
I am looking for a friendly, clean, and considerate person who will make a nice addition to this house. Ideally you will respect the common spaces while wanted to do a bit of share life within the flat :)
Occupation - I don't mind students/professionals. I am currently a student, so the person who comes in will have to assume council tax, which comes to around £103/month. However, I am in the last months of my PhD, which means this will probs change and I will have to start paying council tax starting 2026 :)
THE AREA/ TRANSPORT
- 10 min walk to Kilburn Station (Jubilee) and overground station (Brondesbury) with easy connections to central London. 15 min walk from West Hampstead station (Thameslink). Pleeenty of buses literally on the door!
- Aldi is 30 seconds away! So are TK Maxx, Argos etc. Also Sainsbury's, Iceland, Primark, Tesco are less than a 10-minute walk!
- 10 min walk to Queen’s Park High Street (Salsbury Road), with plenty of nice cafes, bars, restaurants, and so on.
If you’ve read this far and feel we might be a good fit for you, I would love to hear from you! I would consider all those who get in touch, telling us some information about you, your background, your hobbies, lifestyle, etc.
Move-in: 10th October (if you wanna move in before, we could be flexible)
Rent: £980
Bills: about £65 a month + Council Tax (if you aren't a student)!
There is a one-off £50 fee to change the name on the contract too (as per the landlord, sorry about that!)
Look forward to hearing from you! Feel free to message me any questions you might have 😊
