My lovely flatmate is sadly moving out after after almost 3 years to live with her boyfriend, so I am looking for someone new to share my home on a Monday to Friday let.

THE ROOM
Furnished double room with own bathroom (with a walk-in shower) directly opposite. The room has a double bed with nightstands, a triple wardrobe, a chest of two extra large drawers and a desk. You will sole use of the bathroom.

THE FLAT
Found within a luxury new build (2018) apartment block, in the heart of south Islington, the room is in a large second floor flat with perfect sound insulation despite its amazing location on Pentonville Road (absolutely no road noise can be heard from the bedrooms). The flat has a large open plan kitchen/ living area with a nice comfy sofa, lounge chair and matching footrest, and a marble dining table. The flat has under floor heating throughout.

THE BUILDING
There is secure entry to the building (two doors/ gates at every entry point), a 24 hour concierge and a large communal courtyard with outdoor seating. For amenities, there is a residents' only gym, swimming pool and hot tub, as well as a cinema/ screening room. There is also a sauna and steam room.

THE LOCATION
The flat is perfect for access to the West End and the City being halfway between Angel and Kings Cross St Pancras stations (both walkable in 5 and 10 minutes respectively), so a fantastic location. There are numerous local buses, too (205, 214, 30, 394, 476 & 73) with bus stops in both directions right outside. An array of shops, restaurants and bars are found in the surrounding area (Upper Street, Islington High Street, Essex Road, Granary Square and Coal Drops Yard to name just a few) and conveniently, there is a Tesco Express right next to the building.

THE FLATMATE
I'm a lawyer (I know). To stay active I play basketball, cycle (I know) and lift weights. I'm also a certified movie buff who still buys blu-rays and DVDs (I know). I'm a frequent traveller and while I enjoy cooking, I only manage it about once a week (I know).

I work fairly long hours but I'm quite social and always up for some chat over dinner or a drink.

As to what I'm looking for in a flatmate, I guess just someone neat and social with interests outside Netflix and respect for others. Just a good human being, basically - and of course I'd prefer if you are not an axe murderer. Cool points if you like basketball and bonus points if you have good stories to tell..
