Hi potential new flatmate.
I’m looking for someone to replace my current flatmate Harriet as she will be moving in with her boyfriend. The room is available from the 6th of July but can possibly bring this forward if needed. The price is include of bills which are £150pcm each now due to the higher energy prices this should be reducing in the summer months. Rent is £875pcm each
The Room
The room is a spacious double in a two bed flat right in the heart of Kings Cross. The room comes with a bed, wardrobe, desk (with chair), bedside table and a chest of drawers. Harriet is happy to leave the furniture for the new flatmate or it can be removed if you have your own.
The Flat
The flat is 2 story with a large bright upstairs living area and balcony. There are two separate toilets with one being a bathroom toilet combo.
The living room has a large 50 inch TV, sofa and chairs along with some hardy potted plants that I often forget to water. There is also a large balcony and we have chairs and a sun lounger for the sunnier months.
The Area
The flat is a 5 minute walk from the canal and the Coal Drops yard development with lots of shops, pubs, restaurants (my personal favourite being Ekachai) and markets close by. The nearest station is Kings Cross but there is also an overground station close by so everywhere is easy to get to. Angel/Highbury and Islington are within walking distance and make for another great area for food/drinks/shopping. Old Street/Shoreditch is 20 minutes by public transport or 15 minutes by bike.

A bit about myself, I’m a 29 year old male currently working as a software engineer who enjoys the usual activities such as gym, travel, going out for food and drinks and the odd festival in the summer. I’m quite sociable so will be down to have the odd beer or two with any new flatmate but am respectful of your space. You may also catch me watching the odd boxing match or F1 event during the weekend.
About you
I’m looking for a working professional flatmate to share the flat with, I’ve lived with both men and women over the years so happy to live with either. I am clean and tidy and respectful (takes the bins out when full, cleans up after cooking, will ask before bringing friend over) and would expect the same from any new flatmate.
