Hello!

I am advertising a very spacious, bright, well-furnished flat in the heart of King’s Cross.

The lodger will have the flat mainly to themselves as I have the other (much smaller) bedroom but will be spending almost all my time in Oxford for the next year on a full-time clinical doctorate.

The available room is really large (6.1m x 3m), has a king-size bed, and gets loads of natural light throughout the day from its two wide windows.

The kitchen is light, modern, well-equipped, overlooks the leafy street below, and has a great deal of storage.

The sitting room is super-spacious too (5.7m x 3.3m), with a comfy vintage sofa, armchair, and a large dining table. There is also a very large wall-mounted TV which is likely to stay. The evening sun streams into the room through the open door of the Juliette balcony, and there are wonderful views over the old rooftops, King’s Cross station, and the emerging Googleplex building.

The bathroom is roomy, with large cabinets, and lovely hot water pressure for showers and baths.

The wide corridor between the rooms, including an antique-looking cabinet, also gives the flat a spacious feel.

The flat is on the top (3rd) floor of a modern building in a leafy quiet street, while just a 4 minute-walk from King’s Cross tube. It has a wide, naturally lit stairwell and friendly neighbours. The building has a large sunny patio area at the back for residents, and a locked cabinet for bikes. The flat feels amazingly quiet given its location.

It’s 1 minute from a local Sainsbury’s, 3 minutes from a large Tesco, and 10 mins from a huge Sainsbury’s and Waitrose.

I love living in this area, with Angel just 10 mins walking in one direction, Bloomsbury 10 mins in another, Clerkenwell in another, Camden in another. It’s also a 4-minute walk from a beautiful stretch of the canal, and 6 minutes from Granary Square, which has a big array of buzzing restaurants, shops, bars, pubs, and a free open-air cinema in the summer.
