Hello!

My flatmate is moving away from London because she misses home and we are seeking a new roommate to replace her until the lease ends in about a years time, 31 August 2025 (With potential for renewal).

Here is some information about the current tenants, the property, and if you are interested, do let us know a little bit more about yourself!

LOCATION
The property is located within minutes of Kings Cross Station (you can see the station from the flat). Kings Cross Station is extremely convenient, with direct access to the Piccadilly, Victoria, Northern, Hammersmith & Circle. It is also adjacent to St Pancras, with direct access to Mainland Europe via the Eurostar, Thameslink lines that runs to Gatwick and Luton airport, and others.

THE FLAT
The flat is a 3-bedroom apartment based inside a separate wing of the Travelodge Hotel. While this may seem unusual, the upside is that this comes with 24/7 security, as well as a concierge to handle parcels. The flat has a shared living space, with a dining table, and a common TV. There is also a fully equipped kitchen. The landlord is a corporate, but is extremely responsive for minor items (e. g. calling a plumber / electrician etc). In the interest of transparency, there is an issue with broadband speed, as there no fiber optic infrastructure present in the flat. There is also a £50 fee to do a change of name on the lease contract (as you would be replacing someone).

THE ROOM
The room is sizable and comes with its own bathroom. Whilst the property is located next to Grays Inn Road, which is a busy intersection, the room faces the courtyard of the hotel, which results in a quiet environment. The room is partially furnished with a dresser, wardrobe, and a queen sized bed. The previous flatmate has left a chair and a desk, but it would be up to you if you would like to keep it.

FLATMATES
The current flatmates are two individuals from Singapore who enjoy having drinks, outdoor activites, sports, and other regular social activites.

The rent for the room is £1,035, excluding bills. The total costs, including bills, is broken down as follows:
