Hi everyone! We're looking for a friendly flatmate to join our Kings Cross 3 bed/3 person flatshare. Perfect for someone clean and respectful who’s always happy to have a friendly chat in the communal spaces! Bonus points if you are skilled at keeping houseplants alive :)
Viewings this Sunday (June 30th), or open to weeknights this week too. Ideal move-in: early July (flexible)
The room:
The fully furnished double room includes a desk, chest of drawers, and a double wardrobe. Bills extra (usually £130-£150pcm)
IMPORTANT: The listed rent price is an estimate based on previous year's rent increases (the rent will go up to a new price in September). We are waiting on agency confirmation this week on the actual price, but it will probably be between £800-£850pcm (we've been in this flat 3 years and this would be a typical amount for them). The deposit is currently £750, but this may go up slightly to match the rent increase.
The area:
The flat is on a quiet backstreet in zone 1 (yes, they exist!). It's a 5 mins walk from Kings Cross tube station (Circle, Piccadilly, Victoria, Northern, etc.) and has great bus connections.
A 15 min walk from Angel high street which has a big Sainsbury’s, Iceland, Waitrose and M&S, or a 5 min walk from a Tesco Express and Sainsbury’s Local.
Plenty of green spaces nearby, plus we're a 5-minute walk from the canal and Coal Drops Yard!
The flat:
It's a 1st-floor flat with lift/stairs. There's a shared kitchen, large bathroom and communal building garden. No lounge, but the kitchen is pretty big and great for a hangout!.
You'll be with Alexia and I, young professionals who've shared a flat for 5 years. I work in a museum and Alexia works in a school. Alexia is moving abroad this August, so you'll also get to help pick our new flatmate soon!
We’re both pretty easy going and like to hang out on occasion with a shared meal in the kitchen, in one of our rooms, or at one of the many pubs/restaurants nearby!
