Sunny double room in book-filled home

A bright, comfortable double room in a warm, book-filled flat near Kingsbury/ Colindale. The room has plenty of natural light and flexible furnishings, including a memory foam futon that doubles as a sofa and the bedframe also folds away; giving you options depending on how you like to use the space. A chest of drawers can be moved out or left for you to use.

The flat has a calm, creative atmosphere, with lots of books, paintings and houseplants, and a private garden/patio at the rear. Dishwasher and Nespresso machine, and the nicest (and quietest!) neighbours. Also lovely green spaces nearby: the Welsh Harp Reservoir and Fryent Country Park.

I'm looking for a professional (full or part-time) or postgraduate student, ideally aged 25–45, who values a peaceful home environment. I teach, tutor and write, so sometimes work from home/sometimes will be out during the day, but I'm sociable and happy to chat over a coffee or glass of wine.

You'd also be sharing the flat with Byron, my seven-year-old husky, who is gentle, calm and very friendly. He'd love to go on walks or play tug of war with you, but he does shed quite a bit, so this sadly isn't the right home for anyone with asthma or pet allergies.

Bills included in the rent. Council tax Band C. Minimum stay one month.

15min walk to Kingsbury and Colindale tube stations or a short bus ride, and a short bus ride to Hendon Thameslink (from there reaching King's Cross St Pancras in 17mins).
