Lovely Room in Haggerston - £800 + BILLS (200pcm)

I am renting out my room in a 3-bed in Kingsland Basin, which will become available May 1st. Ideally the person taking my room can move in on 1st May and can sublet my current contract until end of June when there is a break clause and I will be leaving the current contract. At the end of June you will be able to be on the contract yourself with a view to sign for a year. The room will be £800 PCM for May + June but this will be increasing to £1000 PCM on the new contract for 12 months. The total tenancy we are looking for is 14 months !

A professional, female between the ages of 25-35 would be the preferred flatmate however we will of course consider the messages of anyone who would like to enquire.

Flatmates:

The two lovely girls in the flat are Isabela and Anna-Lisa. Isabela is 27, from Brazil but has lived in both New York & London for several years and works in HR. Anna-Lisa is 34, from Australia but moved to London and works in Law. Both girls have 9-5 jobs so the evenings are usually pretty chilled and the vibe in the house is laid back. Everyone is busy with their own lives but we try to do house meals when possible, hang out or watch a series.

The Flat/Location:

The flat itself is absolutely lovely & in one of the best locations in London. Right on the basin, our balcony overlooks the water. You can walk to both Broadway Market / London Fields in the East and Angel to the West. De Beauvoir and Dalston are also pretty close for local shops/everyday items. Transport links are great, with Haggerston Overground less than 5 mins walk away, Dalston Overground a 15 min walk with Kingsland and Junction and multiple bus routes to the city.

The Room:

My room is a double but it is a smaller room, hence the price, but the property is epic. Furnished with a wardrobe, bed, mattress and desk. You can make it super cosy and the door opens onto a shared balcony which is great when nice weather to let the air and sun in - I’ve really enjoyed living here and you can fit a surprising amount of stuff for a small space.
