Description
The room is a spacious single room in a shared flat with one other housemate. It has carpet, a big window and a great view. It will be re-painted and re-plastered before the move in date. I have shared this place with my housemate for 3 years, and am a little sad to leave ... but eager to find the right person to replace me.
We are creatives who do mostly freelance work. We are both responsible for organising all bills/payments/contractual obligations and cleaning/maintenance of the flat. The new tenant will be also, as they are replacing myself.
The lease date will begin the 12th of June - unfortunately it is non negotiable (if interested we can tell you more details about this privately). References are required, bank statements and a guarantor as per the usual process for rental agreements.
There are 2 bedrooms, one bathroom and a spacious living room/kitchen. Its on the corner of the block - so windows on all sides and tonnes of light. We are on the top floor.
We are also in the process of having the bathroom repainted and parts of the living room.
Please note the flat is right next to the train tracks, so noise of the rails is constant. We got used to it though.
The location is incredible. Less than 10 minute walk to Portobello Rd, Golbourne Rd. Less than 30 min to Hyde Park and loads of cool local amenities, restaurants, markets, shops, creative hubs. Its very easy to access the rest of London - 15 min walk to Ladbroke Grove station. Walking distance to Kensal Rise Overground and a bus stop right outside our block.
There is also a big Sainsbury's 5 min away 👍
Rent is £700 per month. Bills are not included. The average is £150-£200 p/m. We have a meter that is read regularly for gas/electric.
We are preferably looking for a female/NB who is easy going, warm, friendly but does there own thing and ofc is respectful and clean. Preferably
25-35 years.
