About Us

Harry (27M) and James (25M), we have both lived here for 4 and 2 years respectively and have put in the effort to make the flat a homely and calming space that we take care of. We like to hang out and chat in our kitchen and make use of our small living room, but also have separate interests and social lives, that occasionally intertwine. We are generally pretty laid back – there’s no cleaning rota but we keep things tidy, we like to play music, we like to have friends over from time to time. This definitely isn’t a party house. We are both gay, so if that’s an issue for you then this isn’t the place for you!

We are looking for someone who fits in with this vibe and arrangement; someone who is looking to stay for the medium to long term; someone who wants to contribute to a positive atmosphere; someone who wants to get to know us and enjoys being social of a mid-week evening; someone who is relaxed.

About the flat

Our flat is located on the second floor above a row of shops on St Helen’s Gardens (there is no lift). We are ~8 minutes walking to Latimer Road tube station. The room is a large double with bay window at the front of the flat and gets great light in the mornings. It comes part furnished with bed, wardrobe and armchair. There is one large bathroom shared between three, with a shower/bath. The kitchen is the main social area within the flat and has a small dining table. We also have a small living room with a sofa and small TV, which is a great reading spot or nice for watching a film of an evening.

We are a 10-minute walk from Portobello Road which hosts the weekly vintage market and has a bunch of restaurants, shops and bars. Nearby green spaces include Wormwood Scrubs (great for running) and Holland Park. The big Sainsbury’s is a ~20-minute walk away but we live directly above a small supermarket. Nearby Adriana’s café is great for a morning coffee and cake.
