Description
Hi everyone! I’m looking for a flatmate to join me in this gorgeous new flat in Notting Hill, just off Portobello Road, from 17th October (I can be a little flexible with the date).
Pets allowed!
Honestly, the flat is lovely and the located right in the heart of Notting Hill, surrounded by all the cafés, restaurants, shops and pretty streets, while still being really well connected to the rest of London.
The room:
You’d have the larger of the two bedrooms, with a beautiful large bay window and loads of storage space. The flat has just been redecorated and is genuinely a really lovely space, with a decent sized kitchen and even a heated bathroom mirror!
It’s £1,375 + bills. I’m still working out the exact bills as I only moved in last week, but I’ll have a better idea shortly.
About me:
I’m a professional costume maker, cabaret performer and singer. I love vintage fashion (vintage vibes not values) and making my home as pretty and cosy as possible, so the flat has a bit of a vintage feel to it. There’s also a record player in the living room which you’re very welcome to use!
I’d love to have a flatmate who’s up for hanging out in the evenings, watching a new series together, having a drink or generally being sociable but I’m also very relaxed about giving each other space. I’m out quite a lot for work and performances, particularly at weekends, so the flat is definitely not going to feel like you have someone constantly under your feet.
I also have a partner who will visit occasionally.
Pets are absolutely welcome! 🐶
I have a 1.5 year old miniature dachshund called Daisy who stays with me towards the end of the week some/most weeks. She is very friendly and playful, so she’d probably be happiest with another playful dog or a very patient dog who doesn’t mind being followed around by a tiny sausage
I’m also very happy for someone to work from home, as I’m out a fair amount.
A few practical things:
The nearest tube is Ladbroke Grove, around a 6 minute walk away, with the Circle and Hammersmith & City lines. The estate agent I’m using is brilliant, I’ve been with the same property agent for the last four years and they’re really on top of things. They’re also happy to rent to self employed people, which is obviously very useful for anyone freelance.
I’m looking for someone friendly, respectful and clean who wants more than just a place to sleep ideally someone who’d enjoy actually making the flat feel like home together.
If you’re interested, send me a message with a little bit about yourself!
