I have a lovely modern large double bedroom to rent in my spacious Victorian terraced house. 


The room is on the first floor at the back of the house, overlooking the garden. It is south facing and so gets bright natural light most of the day, and has a lovely perspective over the parkland behind the house. It has high ceilings,, a king size bed, and loads of inbuilt storage. There is plenty of room for your desk if required.

The house itself has been fully refurnished in a contemporary and modern styling. There is a large lounge/dining room with big sofa and 65” HD Home cinema system and modern fireplace. There is a family bathroom with powerful shower and also a separate downstairs toilet. The modern kitchen has all the mod cons, plenty of room for socialising and eating, and large folding doors that lead out to the richly planted south facing garden with outdoor sofas sited on a decked area shaded by an architectural white canvas canopy - in the summer months this become a great outside lounge!

The house is set over three floors and comprises in total large lounge / diner, kitchen, utility room/downstairs toilet, 4 double bedrooms and a family bathroom.

There is plenty of additional storage in the cellar and the attic.


The house is 5 mins walk from Loughborough Junction overground station (8 minutes to the City and 1 stop from underground connections at Elephant and Castle). Brixton and Stockwell tube stations (Victoria and Northern Lines) are 15 minutes walk away. There is also plentiful buses from nearby Brixton Road, Camberwell New Road and Loughborough Junction.

About the current housemates: The landlord, Sean, runs his own dog training business. Dhan works in Tech for Google. We also share the house with a totally adorable and very well behaved 2 year old black Labrador called Charlie

We are looking for a sociable gay male to join the household - somebody who is is interested in forming friendships with the other housemates, and ideally somebody who likes dogs!

The house has super fast 1Gb broadband, with a wired connection to every bedroom, plus strong wireless connectivity throughout the house.

We have a cleaner who cleans the house every Thursday - the rent includes a contribution to this cleaning.

There is plenty of on street parking (Lambeth council resident parking permit required).
