Room in cosy 2 bed - central, leafy Kennington

A friend's buying their own place and moving out at the end of the month, so I'm after a new flatmate for our cosy 2-bed.

It's on a quiet residential street right where Kennington and Lambeth meet - leafy and tucked away, but also very central. The flat is very peaceful and the living room gets tonnes of light in the evenings.

There's a lovely park right by the Imperial War Museum on the doorstep, and a great little coffee shop about 30 seconds from the door. I end up walking pretty much everywhere from here - the South Bank's around 15 minutes on foot - but when you do want the tube, Lambeth North (Bakerloo, Zone 1) is about 580 yards away and Elephant & Castle (Northern, Bakerloo and National Rail) about 750.

The rent's £1050 pcm plus bills.

I'm a civil servant who's in the office most days. I've always lived with close friends so I'm definitely looking for someone I can hang out with as well as pay the rent. I'm into all the usual good stuff including art, reading, long walks, occasional pub and failing at the saturday guardian quiz.
