Hello!

We're Kristian and Alistair, and we’re looking for a new flatmate from around 14th May to replace our current housemate who’ll be moving in with his girlfriend.

We live in a light and spacious furnished flat in a former Victorian pub located on a residential road. We’re around 15 minutes walk away from Brixton, 10 minutes from Camberwell Green, and couple of minutes from Myatt’s Fields Park. In terms of transport, we are within walking distance of Loughborough Junction Railway Station (5-10 mins), Brixton Tube (15 mins) and Denmark Hill Overground (15 mins). In addition to this, there are excellent bus links via Brixton Road and Camberwell Green.

We have a shared entrance with the other flats in the building leading into a communal area where bikes can be stored, with a large shared garden behind the building. The flat is on a single floor and located on the first floor of the building, with modern fixtures and fittings throughout. The best feature of the flat is the bright, open-planned kitchen and living area at the front of the building. The flat has one bathroom with bath/shower, with the washing machine in separate utility cupboard. The bedroom is a good sized, double room which gets lots of light. It has lots of lots of storage space with a large wardrobe, and two chests of draws.

We both enjoy having a chat when we’re about at home, however are often out and about and might not be in every night. Kristian is a government economist and Alistair works in the music industry.

We share a common interest for music, arts, and good food, are both easy going and love having a good laugh. We are looking for someone who’s relaxed and sociable, up for a laugh and a drink now and then, as well as being clean and tidy without being over the top. Someone around our ages (Kristian 25, Alistair 27), boy or girl we don’t mind, someone who wants to enjoy the flat as a home.

The boring bits… we’d prefer someone to stay for 6 months, and there is an option to stay longer. The property is managed through a management company which also own the whole building. Any new tenant will have to go through the change tenancy agreements with the management company which costs around £250 (for credit checks etc.).
Rent is £570 per month paid within the first 5 days of every month. Deposit is 6 weeks rent, and is kept in a protected scheme. Bills come to about £100 a month, however, a couple of months a year we don’t need to pay/pay less than this.
