Art loving? Theatre lover? ? Beautiful Victorian house, quiet and friendly atmosphere.. No wfh, sorry. We will have a vacancy for a new female housemate; 1st floor sunny room with French windows opening onto your own private roof terrace overlooking the lovely private South facing garden. A second room will soon be available, with large window and high ceiling. Both rooms have large chest of drawers, lots of hanging space, cupboard, underbed storage, and an air-conditioning unit for heatwaves! Room free from 20th September.

You would share shower room on ground floor with one other. We have a large fully equipped luxury kitchen (but NO microwave, sorry!!), we have a range cooker , 3 fridges, dishwasher etc. You would share a fridge with one other girl, and we share breakfast room . House is quiet, private and sunny.. a haven of peace in a busy city. There are four bathrooms, five bedrooms, in this house. . We are not crowded here, nor are we a Party House. It’s easy to have your privacy. This is a real home. Sit in the garden whenever it suits you! Being clean and tidy and good at loading and unloading a dishwasher is vital!

Single ladies, aged 29 -41 only, no couples. No smokers . No working from home, sorry! Previous housemates include scientists, doctors, architects. I am happy to wait for the right person to fit in with the household. .

We are all professionals and live with me, the live-in landlady who has had a long career in the world of theatre and is currently still working. Current younger ladies here are - Portuguese scientist working at Moorfields, and an English photographer, A third lady is about to leave us as she has bought her own flat. We are quiet, civilised and friendly.

Also included in the rent is weekly cleaning lady, who changes your bedlinen fortnightly, and towels every week.. All linen and towels are provided (good quality 100% cotton ), plus loo rolls for your bathroom. All bills included .

Interests include galleries, museums, Theatre visits, classical music and gardening .. It's a short 4 minute walk to the wide open spaces of Clapham Common, where you can go running or take part in the many sports activities there. If you have a bicycle you can store it in the large shed in the garden.

Six bus routes within 2 mins walk of the house - 156, 77, 87, 345, 137, 452.

Tube stations - Clapham Common, Nine Elms, Battersea Power Station, Vauxhall, Sloane Square.

Overground and Rail - Clapham Junction Station, Wandsworth Road, Queenstown Road, Vauxhall.

Important! We don't generally have visiting friends as it makes the house too crowded, but it's possible to have a very occasional overnight friend by arrangement only.
