Hi there!

We're looking for two friendly professionals to join us in our lovely house in Battersea, looking at a moving date of around the 19th of January. Two of us are moving out around the same time to our own places but very sad to be moving as this is a great house!

The smaller room comes furnished and has both a double bed and chest of drawers as well as use of a wardrobe on the main corridor. (The photos are of an old layout and furniture). It shares a bathroom with two other rooms and comes with full use of a desk in a separate room downstairs if you need to work from home. The room is small but works and the shared spaces are very spacious!

The larger room comes with its own en suite and, as per the photos, is also fully furnished with a double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe.

RENTAL DETAILS
The rent is £751 per month for the smaller room and £1013 for the en suite. All bills, including high speed Virgin WiFi (200 Mbps), water, electricity, gas and council tax come to around £100 per month (council tax is particularly cheap here!). We've rented through a lettings agent, who are pretty responsive and diligent, there's basic referencing and a deposit, which is protected under the Deposit Protection Scheme.
The contract was renewed in September and lasts for 12 months, although we’ve renewed that each year for the last few years. It has a 6 month break clause or £50 change of name fee paid by the leaving housemate to move earlier.

THE FLATMATES
There are two flatmates moving out so will be two rooms free. But you’ll be living with in a 4 bed house with 2 friendly, tidy and sociable young professionals who like spending time together, but are equally respectful of space and independence and have our own things going on

THE HOUSE
The house itself is a semi-detached house and really spacious (two-storey) and homely. It has a well-sized private garden (with barbecue), conservatory, huge lounge, garage (with storage for bikes), well-equipped kitchen, washing machine and dishwasher. There is even potentially driveway parking available.

THE AREA
The area is a very safe, peaceful cul-de-sac and is in walking distance of local shops and supermarkets, Queenstown Road station, Clapham Common, Battersea Power Station, Battersea Park, Clapham Junction and is near buses for easy and fast access to Vauxhall and Central London.

ABOUT YOU
You'd be an ideal fit if you're a friendly and clean young professional who is, above all, looking to make this house their home. You are respectful of each others space and sleep but would up for trips to the local pub, chilling watching sport or generally up for a chat!
