Double Room Available in 2-Bed, 2-Bath Apartment – East London
Hi everyone!
I’m renting out a double room in a modern 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment in East London.
The room has a large floor to ceiling window, bringing in lots of natural light and offering fantastic views across East London. It also has its own private bathroom and some extra storage space underneath the bed.
The building has its own concierge service as well as a secure bicycle shed.
📍 Location
3 minutes’ walk from Lea Bridge Station
2 minutes’ walk from the nearest bus stop
Aldi is around 5 minutes’ walk away, with other convenience stores nearby
Westfield Stratford is just one stop away by train
🐶 A little about the home
You would be sharing the apartment with myself and my little dog, so it’s important that you’re an animal lover. Unfortunately, she doesn’t get along well with other animals, so no other pets can be accommodated.
I’m looking for someone who I genuinely get along with — ideally someone who would be happy to occasionally make plans together, have dinner, or simply enjoy a friendly relationship at home.
I own the apartment and would like to keep it feeling like my home, so having a good relationship with my housemate and making sure we both feel comfortable is very important to me.
I’m a quiet person at home and would like to keep the apartment peaceful. I’m also a tattoo artist, so I spend quite a bit of time working on my drawings from home and need a relatively quiet environment to concentrate.
For this reason, this isn’t a party house and large gatherings won’t be allowed. Having a friend over for lunch or dinner occasionally is absolutely fine, but I wouldn’t be comfortable with regular weekly gatherings.
Having your partner stay over a couple of nights a week here and there is absolutely fine, but I’d just ask that you’re mindful that this is a shared home. When your partner is over, I’d prefer that you spend most of your time together in your own room, rather than having them regularly use the shared living spaces. Of course, having them join us occasionally for a meal or a drink is absolutely fine , it’s just important to me that I still feel comfortable at home. Please also keep in mind that the room is intended for single occupancy.
🚭 Non-smokers only, please, as smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the apartment.
📄 Rental terms
Long-term rental
6-month probation period, simply to make sure we’re both happy with the arrangement and get along well
the rent is £1,200 per month, including all bills and Wi-Fi
I’m hoping to find someone respectful, clean, considerate and easy going who is looking for more than just a place to sleep someone who wants to feel comfortable and at home while also respecting that this is a shared home.
If this sounds like it could be a good fit for you, please feel free to message me and tell me a little bit about yourself. 😊
