Me
My name is Margo and I’m 37 and work doing event and exhibitions for a designer-maker organisation.
I would am looking for a friendly, fun, considerate person to live in my flat. The flat is large, bright and airy. Everything is newly fitted and very comfortable. There is a balcony which is nice to eat out on in the summer. I’m into mid to late 20th century furniture. I can often be found down Deptford Market and carboot sales hunting for booty. I am often out and about at weekends gigs , galleries, comedy shows, seeing friend etc . I enjoy cooking, often experimenting with new recipe. I dabble in craft (my degree was in Textiles) so often have a project on the go. I get along with most people - so as long as you can humour/ learn to enjoy a certain amount of niche china items in the flat we should get on fine. Room Available from the first of October
Transport
The flat is 5 minutes walk from Lee station, which runs into London Bridge (13 mins), Cannon Street and Charing Cross in 20-25 minutes. Buses are spitting distance from the flat, which link into Lewisham and lovely Blackheath Village. The DLR from Lewisham also provides easy access to Greenwich and Canary Wharf. There's also plenty of on-street parking nearby and the flat has locked bike storage
Lee
Lee has a really nice pub, The Lord Northbrook, a 5 min walk away, which I would like to get to know more. The flat is next to a couple of small convenience stores, 2 Chinese takeaways, a greasy spoon, a dry cleaners, a pharmacy - all the staples needed. 15 mins walk away is a large Sainsburys, and Lewisham has all the usual suspects retail wise. Blackheath is a short bus rise away or walkable on a nice day. It has a load of nice pubs, bars and restaurants. For hipster hangouts, there are New Cross, Deptford, Peckham and Brockley nearby.
