About Us
I have recently purchased the property and live there with my partner, Josie. We both have demanding jobs which keeps us out of the house during the day during the week, and enjoy coming home to a relaxing environment in the evening, where we can cook and relax. We enjoy cooking good food, drinking wine, exploring London, being active, and watching sports (football and F1 primarily).
We are opening up our home to a like-minded student or professional to move into our spare bedroom. Our ideal flatmate is someone who is easy-going, respectful, clean and tidy, and shares our similar interests.
The Apartment
The apartment is a brand new penthouse with open-plan kitchen, dining, living space and adjoining balcony. The communal area benefits from high vaulted ceilings and west facing windows that provide ample natural light. The kitchen includes top-of-the-range appliances including built-in microwave, oven, dishwasher, induction hob and fridge-freezer. An instant hot-water tap and Nespresso coffee machine are also available to make preparing tea and coffee a breeze. The flat also benefits from central heating, integrated washer-dryer, and an outdoor parcel storage for larger deliveries. There is a shared communal patio at the rear of the property, and the tenant can have access to our outdoor shed to store small items such as suitcases etc.
The tenant is able to use all of the household appliances, crockery, cutlery, pots/pans, herbs/spices etc as there is limited space for additional and duplicate items in the kitchen.
The Bedroom
A large double bedroom with high vaulted ceilings, and an east facing window with operable shade which gets the morning light. The bedroom comes furnished with a double ottoman bed, mattress and mattress topper (bed has underneath storage), large clothes rail with shoe rack, chest of drawers, and a bedside table. The bedroom door is also lockable for privacy.
The Shared Bathroom
The tenant will also have more or less exclusive access to the main bathroom located next to the bedroom which includes a bath/rain shower, toilet, sink, storage unit, and heated clothes rail. We have a separate en-suite, so we only use this other bathroom occasionally to take a bath or when there are guests.
Bills
Bills are included and cover Council Tax, High-Speed Fibre Broadband, Electricity/Gas. The tenant will also have access to the house streaming accounts (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Now TV, BT Sport) on the main TV and their own devices.
Requirements
Single occupancy only. No couples/families
No house parties/or regular uninvited guests - we will let you know in advance when we intend to have people over, and kindly ask that you do the same.
We have a pet kitten (Luna) so applicants must be happy living with cats. Luna is six months, so adorable and playful.
