Large bedroom & office rooms in friendly house

We’re looking for a new housemate or a couple to move into our spacious and homely Victorian house in Leytonstone in early May (exact date negotiable).
The house has been lived in by a series of friends and relatives and has developed a homely, communal quality.
The package includes a large ground floor bedroom (photo 1) and private office (photos 2-4). The rooms are equipped with plenty of wardrobe space, under-the-bed storage, a small drawer, desk, sofa and king-sized bed. They are currently set up as a bedroom and office but could be rearranged to suit you. The combined rent for the rooms is £1120 and bills are around £150 overall. The deposit would be £780.
The house has two bathrooms, a kitchen, sitting room, conservatory and garden. We have strong broadband and a NOW TV subscription. There are Sheffield stands for bikes outside. We have a good relationship with the landlord and neighbour, with our neighbour’s cat often popping by to say Hi.
The house is well-connected - a 10-minute walk from Leytonstone (Central line) and Leyton Midland (Overground), and a 15-minute walk from Walthamstow Central (Victoria line). The area is great for cycling and filled with green spaces including Epping Forest, Wanstead Park and Hackney Marshes.
Here’s a little about us…
Jamie is a 27 year old solutions engineer who works from home most days. He loves playing the piano, running, padel, languages and board games.
Kavi, a Kiwi, moved to London with her partner Ash in late 2024. She loves cooking, reading, running, hiking, and exploring new places across Europe.
Ash is a young professional Kiwi, 31 years old. He recently moved to London to explore the other side of the world (with my partner Kavi). Outside of work, which will probably be in Finance/Tech, I love running, hiking, travelling - hoping to squeeze a few trips around Europe.
We are looking for someone friendly and sociable, who is happy to join us for house dinners and trips out now and again.
