Description
Hey everyone! We’re looking for a housemate to join our charming, renovated Victorian house in Leyton, just a couple of minutes’ walk from the Central Line.
The room is currently available.
Our house features a spacious kitchen, a comfortable living area, a study room, ample storage space in the basement, and a lovely garden filled with fragrant lavender and a flourishing fig tree.
About us:
You’ll be sharing this beautiful home with three friendly flatmates in their late 20s and early 30s—1 woman and 2 men—plus two beautiful and loving dogs, Benji and April, whose presence brightens every day. While Ferdinand co-parents the dogs, meaning they aren’t with us full-time, I have grown attached to them and will be co-parenting as well—so they’ll also be spending time with me at my new place.
We’re a respectful household that cares for each other, and also understand the importance of giving one another privacy and space.
👩🏫 Melis (31) is an architect, writer, and editor who loves spending time on the volleyball court.
👨🍳 Ferdinand (34) is a Senior Sous Chef, often found in the garden with his two adorable dogs.
👨💻 Victor (27) is a Marketing Manager who enjoys cooking up delicious dinners, swimming and spending time with friends.
About the room:
The available room is the large master bedroom on the second floor, with a bathroom conveniently located next door. It’s an excellent choice for anyone working from home, like me, as it offers plenty of space to set up a comfortable and productive workspace, along with a cozy area to unwind. The room comes with ample storage options, though with the spaciousness of the house, you may find you don’t even need it! If you're interested in a furnished room, I’m more than happy to offer the current furniture—including a brand-new bedframe and an Ikea chest of drawers—at a very reasonable price.
Bills:
The council tax band is C, and all bills roughly add up to £100 monthly each.
We are hoping to find a flatmate with a respectful, friendly, and curious personality. If you share an interest in cooking, reading, art, and music, you'll find plenty in common with us :)
If this sounds like the right fit for you, please get in touch. We’d love to meet you and show you around!
Lots of love,
Melis, Victor and Ferdinand
