I have two fully furnished rooms available for rent in my home from 1st November. It's a 3-bedroom terrace house off Leyton Hight Road, which is just a few minutes’ walk to the tube. It’s ideal for those seeking a clean, serene and friendly living environment with all mod cons, a garden, and a great location to boot!
The house features:
- 3 large bedrooms
- A fully-furnished kitchen with dining table and brand new appliances (fridge freezer, washing machine, gas cooker and oven)
- A shared bathroom on first floor
- A shared living room with TV + SKY subscription
- A downstairs toilet and sink
- Internet and central heating
- A ‘shoes off’ policy indoors.
The bedrooms are upstairs on the first floor. The first bedroom is at the front of the house overlooking the road, with the other at the back overlooking the garden, which gets lots of sunlight in the morning.
Each bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and desk. The front bedroom also has shelves built into the alcoves.
The third (middle) bedroom is occasionally occupied by my father (who spends most of the year abroad) or me when I’m in East London.
The bedrooms, bathroom and hallway are currently being newly decorated, along with new carpets being fitted upstairs (I will update photos once all works are finished or come and view as a ‘work in progress’).
The house’s location is superb. It’s close to lots of shops, supermarkets and restaurants on the High Road, Leyton Mills Retail Park, and the trendy Francis Road. We are also a short ride away from Westfield Stratford Shopping Centre.
The area is well served for public transport. It’s a 5 minute walk to Leyton tube station (Central line), plus lots of buses to destinations such as Leytonstone, Stratford (Central, Jubilee, DLR, Overground and TfL Rail), Homerton, Hackney, Walthamstow, Woodford and Chingford literally on our doorstep. We are also close to the A12/Blackwall Tunnel, so great for convenience and access regardless of your choice of transport.
There is on-street parking. However, please note there’s a residents’ parking permit system operating on the road for most of the day from Monday to Saturday.
