LARGE DOUBLE BEDROOM IN LEYTON AVAILABLE JANUARY 2025-2026.

Looking to rent out second bedroom for a year from January. I am going on a sabbatical from Jan 2025-2026 (year off work) and will be away most of the year, you'll be living with my partner Matt - he's 37, a development chef and all round top guy!

The room is the larger of the two, with a big bay window and furnished with a bed, wardrobe and desk. The flat itself has a shared kitchen/living room, bathroom, basement (great for storage) and a nice long garden with a summer house/shed at the end with power - if you WFH you can use this as an office in the warmer months.

Leyton is a great part of London (voted top neighbourhood in London for 2024!) You can walk to Leyton Midland overground (2 stops of Victoria line) in under 10 mins, Leyton tube (Central line) is about 18 min walk with plenty of buses to take you up there.
Leyton Jubilee Park/Hackney Marshes is 10 min walk, super close to the park run if you're into running.

The room is £800 a month, bills are usually around £200 (energy, internet, council tax, water). I'll be away most of the year but will be back occasionally, so it'll be you and Matt sharing the flat. He works for a group of restaurants, out Monday-Friday occasionally working from home. Into skateboarding, snowboarding, music, food and super chatty and friendly, happy to go for a pint if you're up for it and equally fine keeping himself to himself!

We're looking for someone who will treat the flat like their home and tidy up after themselves. Ideally looking for someone for the year. If you're interested please message with some info about yourself and what you're looking for/current situation.
