Spacious Double Bedroom in Creative Flat, Leyton

We have a double room (for single occupancy) available to rent in our spacious, bright, and quiet two-bedroom flat from 22nd October 2025 (the room will be available earlier, in case the person wants to move before). The room is furnished with a king-size mattress, bed frame, closet, and gaming chair & desk (optional). The room has double-glazing windows and faces north-west.

You’ll be living me, Clap (32), and I am career driven queer (gay) musician, performer and visual artist. I am fun, social, considerate, and respectful flatmate with personality. I might be home the whole week, or you might not see him for a week. Other than art, I have deep interests into psychology, science, Spirituality and Self-development.

The room available is very bright and quiet, and the living room is a cosy space to work from home or unwind. Clap has his own office. The kitchen is spacious, with lots of storage and fully equipped (fridge, oven, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, washer-drier, microwave…), and we have a beautiful back garden. The flat is on the house's first floor, so you’ll need to use the stairs to access it.

The flat is well located, 10 min walk from Leyton tube station (Central Line) and 15 to Leyton Midland Road Station (Overground – Suffragette Line). There are bus stops with access to Stratford, Walthamstow and Hackney Central within 20-30 minutes. Shops are within a 15 min walk (ASDA 24h, Starbucks, B&Q, TK Maxx…). Being close to Stratford, you can access two big shopping centres and change to the Jubilee Line, Elizabeth Line, Overground – Mildmay Line, DLR and National Rail within less than 20 min. We also have the front garden with the chance to park a bike.

There's an off-license and GP just a 30-second walk. The flat is located next to Francis Road, a community street with lots of lovely cafes, pubs and restaurants within walking distance.

The bills are around £160 with everything included (Gas, Electricity, Water, Council Tax, Internet, Tv license).

The landlord is a housing trust and keeps the house in very good condition. Clap has lived here for almost 4 years, and I'm looking for a long-term, professional who is a respectful and clean flatmate.
