Free Room (quirky & small) in exchange for cooking

We are a friendly family based in Leyton, offering a free room in our house in exchange for help with cooking 5 days a week (around 7 meals with ideally one at the weekend but there’s flexibility).

What We’re Offering
- A furnished single room (please note the room is small and peculiar but comfortable and well thought through)
- Free rent, utilities, and Wi-Fi
- A family-oriented environment, you’ll be welcome to join us for the meals you cook.

What We’re Looking For
- Someone with an interest in cooking who can plan and make nice healthy dinners
- Someone who is also happy being around young children
- Approx. 1–1.5 hours for meal prep + weekly shop to source all ingredients needed
- No cleaning or childcare required beyond normal tidiness in the kitchen after cooking

About Us
We’re a friendly French couple with two children (Leila 4 and Isaac 2) and another one on the way due in March. A friendly Au Pair also lives with us. We like to have conversations about everything from movies, education (a big subject in our household), the world in general and living better lives. We like to build a nice and caring community where everyone gets on with each other.
